Atlanta (Ga.) Tri-Cities two-way lineman Cameron Ball is the latest 2021 prospect to be offered by the Wolfpack. He’s being recruited by defensive line coach Charley Wiles.
According to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite, Ball is the No. 616 prospect in the nation, 35th-ranked defensive tackle and No. 48 player in Georgia.
State becomes one of the nearly 30 schools that have offered the 6-foot-5, 290-pound Ball. Besides the Pack, Ball’s offer list includes Arizona State, Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Florida State, Mississippi State and Virginia Tech.
Scouting Report: The first thing that jumps out when watching Ball on film is his combination of size and athleticism. There aren’t many 6-foot-5 and close to 300-pound prospects who move as well as Ball.
He’s quick off the ball and physical at the point of attack. Ball moves his feet well and changes directions fluidly. He's aggressive, gives great effort and plays until the whistle blows.
