--Your favorite exercise or workout routine that you are doing at home …
JD: My favorite workout routine would be on Sundays when I wake up and go for a run in my neighborhood that is about three miles long. Then I'll come back home and do an arm circuit.
YT: My favorite workout routine that I am doing at home is mostly training – ab work and push-ups. I still have been able to go work on fields and run on tracks to stay in shape.
--Your least favorite chore to do while at home …
JD: By far, cleaning dishes. My brothers and I have to clean them every night after dinner.
YT: My least favorite chore to do at home is washing dishes. Ever since stores and restaurants have been closed, I have been getting groceries and cooking daily. It is crazy how many times I started cooking food just because I am bored.
--Personal goals for the upcoming football season …
JD: Help lead our team to a MAC Championship and get our first bowl game win.
YT: Win a championship and reach 1,000 yards receiving.
--What do you miss most about Ball State?
JD: Hanging out with my teammates and being around them all of the time.
YT: I miss being with my football family.
--Any meals you've learned to prepare while stuck at home?
JD: Sadly no. Luckily for me, my mom is an amazing cook and makes great meals every day.
YT: I make a lot of different pastas, but I learned to make this stir fry meal. It was just something I used to watch one of the chefs, Marcus, make at Elliott Dining on campus.
--Any new hobbies/interests to keep busy?
JD: My brother and I have been playing ping pong pretty much every day. We both have gotten pretty good and they are very competitive games.
YT: I mostly train or play video games, specifically Madden or Call of Duty.
--Best way to stay connected with teammates …
JD: GroupMe app with the whole team. We all send messages to each other through the app whether it is videos of workouts, or food that we are about to eat.
YT: Sending each other workout videos and playing video games online.
--What was your toughest academic class this semester and why?
JD: Accounting. Too many numbers to put in too many different places.
YT: My toughest academic class this semester was Math 125 – Quantitative Reasoning.
