BAY CITY, MI – Here’s your second chance.
Bay City Western, John Glenn, Cass City, Laker, Oscoda and Whittemore-Prescott return to our poll this week, given a second opportunity to spotlight their Top Five athletes since 2000.
By now you’ve probably seen our Top Five athletes since 2000 stories. But you may not know how it works.
Step 1 starts right here. For your school to be profiled in our Top Five series, your school must finish first or second in one of our weekly polls -- like the one below. So vote, vote, vote for your school until the poll closes at 9 a.m. Friday, May 8.
After the poll closes, MLive will dive into the sports history of the top two schools and select the Top Five athletes from each school since 2000.
This is Week 5 of our six-week project. This week’s poll features schools that fell short in a previous poll and missed out. Don’t miss out again. Rally the vote and join the Top Five fun.
Past poll winners Unionville-Sebewaing, Reese, Au Gres, Bay City Central, Ogemaw Heights and Standish-Sterling have been profiled and Bay City All Saints and Owendale-Gagetown are coming up next.
Now it’s time to determine the next two schools, and the way it is done is with the poll below.
