LaMelo Ball celebrated his 19th birthday on Saturday, only a handful of months before he will be drafted into the NBA and play his first league game. Ball has had a wild, winding road to present day and has made friends at nearly every step of the way.
As one of the most popular teenagers in the world, many of those friends, ranging from teammates in high school and prep school to future NBA colleagues, and some family took time to send him birthday wishes on the day. Jamal Crawford, current Brooklyn Net and one of the best NBA sixth men of all-time, sent out a tweet Saturday afternoon wishing Ball a happy birthday.
Brother Lonzo <a href=" Ball's former NBL team, now known as The Hawks, sent Ball a happy birthday tweet as well.
Ball’s new agency, Roc Nation Sports, tweeted out a graphic for Ball’s birthday.
A host of former teammates from multiple levels of basketball sent Ball birthday wishes on Instagram, including former SPIRE teammates Isaiah Jackson and Rocket Watts.

Former Chino Hills teammate Onyeka Okongwu, who will likely join Ball as a first round draft pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, shared a birthday message for Ball as well.
