The North Dakota Department of Health reported five new positive tests for the coronavirus on Saturday. The number of active cases in the county was reported as 57 as of Saturday.
In neighboring counties, 11 cases were reported in Logan County, seven in LaMoure County, five in Barnes County, one in Foster County and four in Kidder County.
Across North Dakota, 497 new positive tests were reported Saturday with Burleigh County reporting the most with 91 cases and Cass County 80. The daily positivity rating for North Dakota was 6.9%.
There were eight deaths associated with COVID-19 in North Dakota reported Saturday raising the death toll since the start of the pandemic to 227 people.
