According to building permits filed with the city of Fargo, the restaurant is planned for the Timber Creek plaza at 5050 Timber Parkway South. The permit was issued for a $350,000 fit-up of one of the existing suites in the plaza. It is unknown when the project will be completed.
Five Guys first entered the Fargo market in 2010, opening at 2877 45th Street South before adding a second location at 4328 13th Avenue South in 2018. The chain has locations in Bismarck, Minot and Grand Forks as well.
In total Five Guys operates 1,600 restaurants in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East with another 1,500 stores in development, according to its website.
Numerous attempts to reach a Five Guys spokesperson were unsuccessful.
