SANIBEL ISLAND, Fla.– The CROW Clinic currently has 5 eagles in their care.
They admitted two new eagles in the past week.
On Saturday, an adult eagle was admitted with a deep puncture wound on it’s left pectoral muscle. All of the eagles tail feathers were broken.
The bird of prey will receive wound management. According to CROW, the eagle’s tail feathers will grow back in time.
The second eagle admitted to the clinic was a starving nestling, with fractured bones in it’s left wing.
