TEWKSBURY — On behalf of the Lowell Five Bank board of directors, David E. Wallace, president and CEO of Lowell Five Bank, has announced the following promotions.
Maura Sweeney of Reading was promoted to executive vice president/chief Human Resources officer. She has over 35 years of experience in human resources and has been leading the HR team at Lowell Five since 1987. She is a member of the board of directors and a corporator of Lowell Five Bank. She is a longtime supporter of Girls Inc. of Greater Lowell and served as president from 2015 through 2018. She is a graduate of Boston College and the Massachusetts School of Financial Studies.
Lawrence Estelle Jr. of Chelmsford was promoted to senior vice president/Commercial Lending. He joined the bank as vice president/Commercial Loan Portfolio manager in 2017 and quickly advanced to commercial loan officer. He earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from UMass Lowell.
Donna Hauswirth of Lowell has been promoted to senior vice president/Mortgage Origination. An experienced mortgage lender of over 45 years, she manages the bank’s Residential Mortgage Department. She has been with Lowell Five for more than 10 years. She volunteers at the Dracut Food Pantry in her spare time.
Steven Ventre of North Andover, senior vice president/Commercial Lending, has earned the designation top commercial lender. He leads a Commercial Lending team of three Lowell Five lenders. He is responsible for new commercial real estate and construction originations, and services an existing loan portfolio. A graduate of UMass Amherst, he joined the bank in January 2012. He serves as treasurer for North Andover Community Media and Access and is a member of the Rotary Club of Andover.
Manal Chakar of Methuen has been promoted to vice president/Commercial Loan officer. She joined Lowell Five in 2019 and has over 15 years of commercial credit experience. She is a graduate of UMass Lowell with a Bachelor’s degree in business administration.
Ryan Berube of Woburn has been promoted to vice president/Commercial Loan officer. Ryan joined Lowell Five Bank in October 2016 as a senior credit analyst and advanced to the position of commercial lending officer in just under two years. He is a graduate of Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in finance and is a graduate of the Massachusetts Bankers Association’s School of Commercial Lending. Ryan serves on the Haverhill YMCA Board and is a member of the MV Connect Business Networking Group.
Christopher Wilcox of Nashua, N.H., has been promoted to vice president/Construction Loan officer. In his position, he helps Lowell Five clients finance the acquisition and construction of real-estate projects, both as investment properties and those to be held for sale. He will celebrate five years at Lowell Five in April, having joined the bank in 2016 as senior analyst/credit officer. He is a member of the board of directors for the Front Door Agency in Nashua.
Cindy Boyden of Pelham, N.H., has been promoted to assistant vice president/Human Resources officer. She joined Lowell Five in 1988 as a teller and eight years later accepted the position of personnel assistant on the Human Resources team. In 2007, she was promoted to Human Resources officer. In her role, she is responsible for payroll management, government reporting and administration of the bank’s employment policies.
Jillian Daneau of Dracut has been promoted to assistant vice president/Portfolio Management. She joined Lowell Five Bank over 23 years ago as a teller. For the past 12 years, she has been a member of the credit team, starting as a credit analyst trainee and advancing to Commercial Loan portfolio officer in 2018. She manages loan relationships with small businesses and assists in managing the bank’s Small Business Loan Portfolio. She earned an Associate degree in business administration from UMass Lowell.
Stephen Giuffre of Pelham, N.H., has been promoted to assistant vice president/Business Intelligence. He is responsible for developing data models that enhance the bank’s strategic decision-making process and improve internal workflows. He joined Lowell Five in 2004 as a teller. For over 12 years, he was a member of the IT team. In 2019, he joined Business Intelligence as a business analyst and advanced to business intelligence officer within a year.
Christopher St. Croix of Lowell has been promoted to assistant vice president/Network Systems. He is responsible for implementing and managing the bank’s network infrastructure. His career with Lowell Five started in 2005 as a teller. He joined the IT Department in 2013 as a PC technical support analyst. He is a graduate of UMass Lowell with a Bachelor of Arts in political science. In his spare time, he shares his IT skills as a volunteer with the Cambodian Mutual Assistance Association of Lowell.
Michael Abramson of Norwood has been promoted to senior analyst/credit officer. He joined Lowell Five 2017 as a credit analyst. He assists in the lending decisions process by identifying and evaluating potential clients’ risks. He is a graduate of UMass Lowell with a Bachelor of Science in business administration. He is enrolled in Boston University’s Real Estate Studies program and is pursuing certificates in real-estate finance and commercial real estate.
