The Nevada football team landed six more games on national television Thursday when the Mountain West released its 23-game slate of contests that with air on Fox, FS1 and FS2. Five of the Wolf Pack's games will air on Fox networks and one on ESPN+.
The Wolf Pack's season opener at Cal on Sept. 4 will kick off at 7:30 p.m. on FS1. The Wolf Pack's regular-season home finale against Air Force also will air on FS1, moving to a Friday, Nov. 20 with a to-be-determined kickoff time (either 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m. or 7 p.m.). A kickoff time will be finalized closer to game day.
The remaining three Wolf Pack matchups airing on Fox networks will have their network and kick time announced at a later date. Those contests include road games at Boise State (Oct. 2) and Fresno State (Oct. 23) and a home matchup with San Jose State (Nov. 6). The 2021 Mountain West championship game also will air on Fox on Dec. 4.
The Big 12 announced a slate of broadcasts Thursday with Nevada’s non-conference trip to Kansas State set for Sept. 18, kicking off at 11:05 a.m. PT (1:05 p.m. local) and airing on Big 12 Now on ESPN+. On Wednesday, five Wolf Pack games were selected for CBS Sports Network broadcasts.
The lone Wolf Pack game that doesn't have a broadcast affiliation is Nevada’s 2021 home opener against FCS opponent Idaho State the weekend of Sept. 10-12.
Nevada returns almost all of its key players from last season, including nine All-Mountain West honorees from the 2020 7-2 campaign. Among the returners is reigning MW offensive player of the year Carson Strong. Nevada launched its season-ticket renewal process last month with a series of changes to the game-day experience, including moving the student section and band. Fans who were not season-ticket holders in 2019 can place a deposit for 2021 tickets for $50 here.
