Hello, SB Nation is looking to hire people to write, podcast, and join the community here at Gaslamp Ball. If you are passionate about the San Diego Padres and have something to say, we’d love to hear from you.
What are we looking for?
We are looking to fill a number of roles as Gaslamp Ball, ranging from game coverage to analysis and commentary, in addition to podcasting, social media work, and community moderation.
All the positions at the site are part-time, remote, independent contractor roles compensated with a monthly stipend.
Qualifications needed
Ideally, we are looking for candidates with these qualities:
- Passion for baseball and the Padres
- Able to produce and edit clean copy
- Come up with ideas and engaging topics to write about
- Comfort working with a team, and working remotely
- Previous writing experience is preferred
