Hastings Five Points Bank Chiefs walk off against North Platte - KSNB Local 4

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - It was quite an opening round game of the Area 7 District Legion tournament out in Kearney on Friday night.

After being tied 5-5 in the 7th inning, the Hastings Five Points Bank Chiefs and North Platte Nationals would need 10 innings to decide the winner of this one.

In the end, it was the Chiefs coming out on top, after Kaden Evans hits a walk off to right center field to give Hastings the 6-5 win.

The Chiefs will be in action again on Sunday, against the winner of Kearney Runza and Scottsbluff.
