Junior and reigning Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year Hanako Kawasaki was recognized for the second time, while sophomore Alice Fan, freshman Flair Kuan, sophomore Monica Yu and sophomore Kristen Min Ju Kim all earned their first WGCA honors.
All five Terriers were also successful on the course, as they helped BU win four of their first five events, beginning with back-to-back victories at the Fairleigh Dickinson Invitational and the Hartford/Tumble Brook Invitational. They finished runner-up at the Patriot League Championship with Fan, Kawasaki and Kuan claiming All-Patriot League honors.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics, as the minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50. The student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's tournaments as well. BU previously had two Terriers recognized on four occasions, including most recently at the conclusion of the 2019-20 academic year.
