Tiffin, Ohio — We asked — and TiffinOhio.net readers voted.
Voting concluded last week for the 2021 Tiffin’s Best Awards in the Restaurants category. Due to a tie in voting, four winners have been chosen rather than the originally planned number of three.
Voting for the contest, which was sponsored by TiffinOhio.net’s parent company, Tiffin Publishing LLC, was conducted online at TiffinsBest.com from May 25 through June 29.
The awards were available for any local restaurant located within Tiffin city limits. One vote per person, verified using a valid email address, was allowed.
The website for voting was distributed on multiple platforms, including Facebook advertising, the TiffinOhio.net News Briefing newsletter, Twitter, the Facebook pages of several local restaurants, and multiple social media users.
Here are the results from this year’s voting:
#1 – MST Pub

MST Pub, a down-to-earth hangout with bar seating popular for boneless wings and big burgers, won the top spot with 41% of the vote. They are located at 92 Madison St. and can be found on Facebook here.
#2 – Fort Ball Pizza Palace

Fort Ball Pizza Palace, with two locations in Tiffin, is known for its pizza pies featuring made-from-scratch dough, homemade sauce, and the highest-quality toppings. Their pasta dinners, sub sandwiches, and even boneless wings are also hits. Fort Ball’s north store, which is open for dine-in, carryout, and delivery, can be found at 91 N. Washington St. The south store at 111 Melmore St. offers carryout and delivery only. You can find them on Facebook here.
#3 (Tie) – Reino’s Pizza & Pasta

As Tiffin’s first pizza joint, Reino’s Pizza & Pasta has been dishing up tasty pies and other Italian dishes for decades. Their most well-known menu item, the Frankie’s Original, is a pizza featuring chunky pizza sauce, three different kinds of cheeses, and thick-cut hard stick pepperoni. The lasagna (pictured above) is also a hit. Reino’s is located at 73 E. Market St. You can find them on Facebook here.
#3 (Tie) – Jolly’s

Known for their famous root beer, shredded chicken sandwiches, and coney dogs, Jolly’s has been a Tiffin staple since the late 1940s. While they have since moved from their original location near Westgate Shopping Center, the menu is essentially unchanged from what it was decades ago. Jolly’s is located at 66 E. Market St. and can be found on Facebook here.
