The Cardinals begin the campaign by hosting Michigan Tech in an exhibition (Nov. 3). The season officially tips off in the Peach State as Ball State travels to Georgia Southern (Nov. 9).
The first home game inside Worthen Arena is slated for Nov. 13 vs. Omaha.
Ball State then hits the road for a neutral-site event over the holiday. The Cardinals are set to take part in the Jersey Mike's Classic (Nov. 18-21) where they will play three games in a six-team field made up of Florida International, Green Bay, UMass, UNC Greensboro and Weber State. Matchups will be announced at a later date.
The Cardinals return home for a tilt with in-state foe Indiana State on Nov. 27 before playing games at Western Illinois (Dec. 1) and Xavier (Dec. 8).
Ball State wraps up non-conference play with home games against IU Kokomo (Dec. 12) and Eastern Illinois (Dec. 21) sandwiched around a road battle at Illinois State (Dec. 18).
The MAC is holding a 20-game schedule this season, which tips off Dec. 28 with Ball State at Northern Illinois.
The Cardinals are set to face nine of the 11 conference foes twice with the lone exceptions being Miami and Ohio.
In 10 league games at Worthen Arena, Ball State is set to host Bowling Green (Jan. 1), Kent State (Jan. 4), Buffalo (Jan. 15), Miami (Jan. 25), Western Michigan (Jan. 29), Toledo (Feb. 5), Central Michigan (Feb. 8), Northern Illinois (Feb. 15), Eastern Michigan (Feb. 26) and Akron (March 1).
In addition to the road opener at Northern Illinois, the Cardinals will travel to Eastern Michigan (Jan. 8), Akron (Jan. 11), Toledo (Jan. 18), Central Michigan (Jan. 22), Ohio (Feb. 1), Buffalo (Feb. 12), Bowling Green (Feb. 19), Kent State (Feb. 22) and Western Michigan (March 4).
The MAC Men's Basketball Tournament will take place at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio, March 10-12.
