WILMINGTON, North Carolina - Looking to extend its season-opening win streak, the UNCW men's soccer team plays the middle game of its three-game road swing on Saturday night when the Seahawks visit Jacksonville for a 7 p.m. contest against the Dolphins.

Live stats for Saturday's game can be found at UNCWStats.com.

UNCW, 2-0-0 on the young season, has claimed a pair of 1-0 victories to open the 2021 campaign. After edging Lafayette in the season opener, the Seahawks used a goal by junior Omar Aboutaleb in the 95th minute to edge USF by a similar 1-0 margin on Sunday night in Tampa, Fla.

Junior goalkeeper Gabriel Perrotta has anchored the Seahawks' defense through the first two games, making three saves in the pair of clean sheets. UNCW has conceded just 13 shots in its first two games.

Jacksonville has split its first two games of the season, dropping a 4-1 verdict to USF last Thursday before routing Wofford by a 5-1 score on Sunday night. Five different players scored a goal in the victory for Jacksonville, which jumped out to a 4-1 lead at the intermission.

Redshirt junior Reed Davis is the lone Jacksonville player to score multiple goals through the first two contests. He netted the Dolphins' lone goal against USF before tallying the eventual game-winner in Sunday's victory over the Terriers.
