MUNCIE, Ind. – After leaving their mark in Muncie, former Ball State players have taken their talents to the next level and have landed on NFL rosters as the 2021 season is set to get underway.

53-Man
OL Danny Pinter, Colts
Pinter is entering his second season in the NFL after being selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the fifth round (149th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft. In his first season, he played in 13 games, earning his first career start as a center against the Titans in Week 12 last year. Behind Pinter and the rest of big guys up front, the Colts were the fifth-best rushing team in the AFC after totaling nearly 2,000 rushing yards. The team had 50 total touchdowns, which was sixth-best in the AFC in 2020. Pinter appeared in 43 games (35 starts) at Ball State while playing both right tackle and tight end. He was named an All-MAC first-team selection in 2019.

WR Willie Snead, Raiders
After playing the last three seasons with the Baltimore Ravens, Snead signed with the Las Vegas Raiders this offseason, joining the fifth-highest passing attack in the AFC in 2020. Carrying with him 45 receptions of at least 20 yards, Snead will add to the fifth-most explosive offense in the NFL as Raiders receivers had 59 receptions of 20-plus yards last year. He is entering his seventh season in the league after getting his start with the Cleveland Browns in 2014. Snead has career totals of 86 games played with 48 starts, totaling 275 receptions for 3,393 yards with 16 TDs while playing on Sundays. He played in 37 games (29 starts) in three years at Ball State, totaling 223 receptions for 2,991 yards and 26 TDs. His career receptions (223) and receiving yards (2,991) set school records.

Practice Squad
RB Caleb Huntley, Falcons
Sticking with the team that signed up for the preseason, Huntley has joined the Atlanta Falcons practice squad. He averaged 4.6 yards per touch in the preseason, which was third-best in the NFL this preseason. Huntley ended his career seventh on BSU's all-time rushing list with 2,902 yards and 10th for rushing touchdowns with 21. He had 13 career 100-yard rushing games, including each of his final seven games in a BSU uniform. He became only the second Ball State player to rush for 1,000 yards as a freshman (Bernie Parmalee, 1987).

CB Antonio Phillips, Texans
One of the leaders on defense last season, Phillips was signed to the Houston Texans practice squad after spending time with the Cincinnati Bengals. For the Cardinals, he played in 39 career games and totaled 137 tackles, a sack, eight INTs, 26 passes defended and one forced fumble. The All-MAC selection in 2020 guided Ball State to a 7-1 (5-1 MAC) record that featured the program's first conference title since 1996 and first bowl win in program history. Phillips had eight career interceptions and led a defense that had 25 picks over the last two seasons, which is the most in the MAC.

LB Ray Wilborn, Packers
Wilborn was picked up by the Green Bay Packers and assigned to their practice squad after spending time with them during training camp. He also has spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Atlanta Falcons. He started all 24 games he played in for Ball State, totaling 166 tackles (93 solo), three sacks, 12.5 tackles for a loss, four interceptions, 12 passes defensed and two fumble recoveries. As a senior, Wilborn started all 12 games in 2019 after moving from linebacker to safety in spring practices. For his efforts, he was invited and played in the 2020 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl in Pasadena, Calif.
