The defending national champion Oklahoma softball team plays a five-game 2021 fall schedule featuring games against four Division I-AA teams in North Central Texas College, Oklahoma Baptist, Seminole State and West Texas A&M, and one Division I opponent, North Texas. The slate features four October games and one November contest, all at Marita Hynes Field in Norman. Follow along with all the action below.
All five games plus the Sooners' intrasquad scrimmage will be available to watch via SoonerSports.tv. Tickets for all five games at Marita Hynes Field are available for purchase online at SoonerSports.com/tickets and at the gate on game days. All tickets are general admission and cost $10.
OU Athletics' clear bag policy will be in effect and walk-through metal detectors will be utilized. More information can be found here.
During OU's four games in the month of October, the Sooners will hold a food drive in conjunction with the OU Food Pantry. Fans are encouraged to bring the following items to donate at the gate: pasta, pasta sauce, canned fruit, juice boxes, condiments, canned soup, Thanksgiving items (e.g. stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce), canned vegetables except for corn and green beans, mac and cheese, beans, rice, peanut butter, granola bars and mixes such as cake or pancake mix. Fans who participate in the food drive will receive a Whataburger coupon for their donation at the front gate.
The 2021-22 team returns 2021 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Jocelyn Alo, along with four other All-Americans in Jayda Coleman, 2021 NFCA Freshman of the Year Tiare Jennings, Kinzie Hansen and Grace Lyons. The Sooners are coming off a record-breaking 2021 season that saw the team finish 56-4 and claim the program's fifth national title.
