MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State women's golf team returns to the course on Monday for the Courtney Cole Invitational on The Pfau Course in Bloomington, Indiana.
The Cardinals will be joined by host Indiana, Cincinnati, Loyola-Chicago, as well as a few golfers from Indianapolis that will be competing as individuals. Morgan Lewis, Liz Kim, Dylann Armstrong, Tiegan Taylor, and Payton Bennett will be competing for the team score, while Ja Santadusit will be on the course as an individual.
The tournament will be unique in the fact that only two rounds of 18 holes will be played instead of the conventional three. After the first round on Monday, the teams will be broken up into two person teams and will compete in a horse race. A horse race is where everyone will tee off on the first hole and after each hole a golfer is eliminated, in this case a pair of golfers will be eliminated.
The Pfau Course is a par-72, 6,178-yard course. The Cardinals are set to tee off at 8:30 a.m. on the first hole. The results can be found of Golfstat.com, but there will be no live scoring.
