Agnes Louise (Murphy) Ball, 89, a resident of Philippi, passed away Wednesday Dec. 29, 2021, in West Virginia Caring Facility in Elkins.
Agnes was born Nov. 12, 1932, in Barbour County, a daughter of the late Welsa Milton “Mike” and Eva Lena (Godwin) Murphy.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Friday, Dec. 31, from 5-8 p.m. and on Saturday, Jan. 1, from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. with Rev. Burl Haddix officiating. Interment will follow in the Clemtown Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.wrightfuneral homeservices.com.
