Ball Arena will be host site for 15 COVID-19 vaccination clinics in December - The Denver Post

COVID-19 vaccination clinics will be held throughout December at the Ball Arena in Denver, preceding and coinciding with sports and entertainment events.

The Ball Arena clinics start this weekend, when multiple Disney on Ice: Dream Big shows are scheduled. Clinics will operate from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, according to a news release from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the Governor’s Office.

“Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) is pleased to continue its partnership with Governor Jared Polis and Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) to administer COVID-19 vaccinations and flu shots at Ball Arena,” said Matt Bell, a Sr. VP with KSE. “Our commitment to the health, safety and wellness of our fans, staff, athletes and performers remains our top priority at KSE, and we will continue to do our part to help combat the pandemic and make our community safer.”

The CDPHE encourages people 18 and older to get a booster dose as soon as possible if it has been at least six months since they got their second dose of Pfizer or Moderna, or at least two months since they got the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, the release said. All mobile vaccine clinics and many standalone clinics are offering pediatric Pfizer vaccines for children ages 5 to 11.

Vaccine clinics are being run statewide through Dec. 10, these clinics are in addition to the 1,700 vaccine providers across the state. To find the nearest vaccine clinic go online to: https://ift.tt/3ixeG7L.
